The perfectly balanced mid engine platform of the 987 combined with a drop top convertible make for a truly liberating Porsche diving experience. The 987's were delivered slightly under powered from the factory so as not to rain on the Carrera's parade. The IPD Boxster intake plenum delivers increased performance that puts the Boxster in the ring with the famed Carrera.
The IPD Plenum out performs every other intake system on the market. Don't be fooled by other competitors claiming to offer Plenums. All factory Porsche air distributors are of the "T" variety and therefore suffer from less than ideal air flow and reduced intake air speed.
The Boxster IPD Intake Plenums are available in 3 versions, each one specifically designed to meet the performance requirements of varying Boxster enthusiasts. From mild to wild, it all depends on how fast you want the wind in your hair.

(3.4L) IPD "Competition" Plenum:
The IPD Boxster "Competition" Plenum was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding Boxster S enthusiasts. The "Competition" Plenum is even larger and utilizes the 997 GT3 82mm throttle body allowing it to deliver even greater air flow and substantial increases in performance.
The "Competition" version is designed to work with Boxsters already equipped with "cat back" high flow performance exhaust and other performance mods.
997 GT3 82mm Porsche Throttle Body:
This is the larger, German throttle body required to fit the larger 82mm “Competition” Plenum.
(3.4L) 07-08 IPD Plenum For OE 74MM TB:
The 74mm Boxster S Plenum utilizes the factory 74mm throttle body. This version provides impressive power gains throughout the entire power band, especially in the midrange where it's most critical and most enjoyed.
The 74mm Boxster S Plenum application is recommended for Boxster S enthusiasts looking for considerable performance gains without pushing the performance envelope to extreme. Max horsepower is 14 and max torque is 12 which all comes in at 5600 RPM.

Porsche introduced the 987 S Boxster with the 3.2 liter engine from the 986 Boxster S. This Plenum version provides impressive power gains throughout the entire power band, especially in the midrange where we enjoy it most.
The 74mm Boxster S IPD Plenum and upgraded 74mm (from 68mm) throttle body package is recommended for Boxster S enthusiasts looking for considerable performance gains. Performance gains can be felt throughout the entire power band making the Boxster driving experience even more visceral.

Returns Policy
If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases, we may offer the ability to return the item to us for a lesser restocking fee and then keep the balance as a store credit. To return an item, it must be in brand new condition with original packaging.
We cannot accept a return on special ordered or custom items.
Shipping is non refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent. All items wanting to be return MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. No items will be returnable after 30 days. All products shipped from the AutoTalent facility are shipped via FedEx, USPS, or USPS. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release.
Special Order Items
Some items may be special order specifically for the customer’s vehicle. These items generally require a deposit or paid in full. Once this deposit amount is notified to the customer and they agree to order the special order item, the deposit becomes non-refundable. These special order items cannot be returned or resold. Cancellations are not allowed on special order parts.
AutoTalent DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return. We will not cover any expenses related to the product or installation, and you may be required to purchase a replacement.
** All cancellations that are requested that are NOT due to items not being in stock or delayed by the manufacturer are subject to a 5% processing fee. When you place an order with us we pay credit card fees that are NOT returned back to us. We will absorb these fees if we do not have the item in stock OR if you agree to the original ETA and that ETA is NOT met. If you decide to cancel for any other reason you will not receive this 5% fee back

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
