We developed precision CNC-machined rings that perfectly fit the enormous 8\" catalytic converter (or OPF in International markets) outlets, then meticulously welded these to high flow cones within the size constraints of the original exhaust. We chose dual mandrel bent 3\" tubing with a large crossover tube, and additional extension tubes were added to tune the sound to what we believed was the best tone possible with no unpleasant drone or resonance on the inside. Our goal was for it to be fun on the outside, and yet classy on the inside; without giving you a headache. This has been achieved without sacrificing the drivability or diminishing the aesthetics.
