It is a direct-fit styling part that frames the tailpipes and gives the back of the car a cleaner, more aggressive look, with a satin carbon weave in place of the stock painted plastic.

What It Does for Your M2

The diffuser is shaped to sit around the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) tailpipes and show them off, but it also suits a stock-exhaust car that simply needs a sharper rear end. The matte finish has a low-glare, motorsport look and pairs well with dark wheels, matte wraps and other matte carbon trim. Akrapovič also makes the same diffuser in high gloss for owners who prefer a shine.

Materials and Construction

Each diffuser is hand-laid in carbon fibre by Akrapovič technicians at the company's own plant in Slovenia, then finished in matte clear coat. Carbon fibre is far lighter and stiffer than the injection-molded factory part, and it holds its shape and finish over years of heat, road grit and car washes. The diffuser holds German ABE type approval in Europe.

Features

Hand-crafted carbon fibre made in-house by Akrapovič

Matte clear finish with a visible carbon weave

Lighter than the factory rear valance

Shaped to frame Akrapovič Slip-On Line tailpipes; also fits cars with the stock exhaust

Direct replacement for the OEM lower rear section; no cutting

What Is Included

Akrapovič Rear Carbon Fibre Diffuser - Matte (DI-BM/CA/10/M)

Specs

Part number: DI-BM/CA/10/M

Brand: Akrapovič

Material: carbon fibre

Finish: matte

Position: rear lower diffuser

Shipping dimensions: 68.5 x 19.3 x 12.3 in (174 x 49 x 31 cm)

Shipping weight: 10.6 lb (4.8 kg)

Fitment Notes

Fits the US-market BMW M2 Coupe (G87) listed below.

Professional installation is recommended.

Year

Make

Model

Chassis

Engine

2023-2027

BMW

M2

G87

3.0L Twin-Turbo I6 (S58)
