The openings line up with the tail pipes, so the system and the bodywork look like one design.

Materials and Construction

Carbon fibre keeps the weight down and gives a premium finish. Akrapovič lays up and finishes its carbon parts to match the look of its exhaust tips.

Akrapovič started in racing and still develops its road parts with the same tools: its own dyno, sound lab and titanium foundry. Each part is made to fit the factory mounting points of the car.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.

Features

Carbon fibre construction

Weighs 1.5 lb (0.7 kg), 0.7 lb (30%) less than stock

Matte carbon finish

Made for the specific cars in the table below

Designed to match other Akrapovič parts

What Is Included

Akrapovič Volkswagen Golf GTI (VII) Rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser - Matte (DI-VW/CA/1)

Specs

Part number: DI-VW/CA/1

Brand: Akrapovič

Material: carbon fibre

Finish: matte carbon

Type: rear diffuser

Akrapovič product weight: 1.5 lb (0.7 kg)

Weight saving vs. stock: 0.7 lb (0.3 kg), 30%

Shipping dimensions: 68.8976 x 18.1102 x 9.84252 in (175 x 46 x 25 cm)

Shipping weight: 19.8416 lb (9.0 kg)

Fitment Notes

Fits the US-market vehicles listed in the table below.

Professional installation is recommended.

Year

Make

Model

Chassis

Engine

2015-2017

Volkswagen

Golf GTI

MK7

2.0L Turbo I4

https://autotalent.com/products/akrapovic-volkswagen-golf-gti-vii-rear-carbon-fiber-diffuser-matte-2015-2017
