It fits the 2015-2019 model years sold in the US. For anyone searching for a mk7 golf r exhaust, it is a direct-fit Remus option. Remus is an Austrian exhaust maker that designs every part for a specific vehicle, which keeps the installation straightforward and the fit precise.

What It Does

It is a rear-section upgrade: the stock rear muffler comes off and the Remus silencer bolts on in its place, so the change is mostly to the sound and the look of the rear end. It works with the exhaust valves, so the car or bike keeps its quieter and louder settings. Remus lists pipe diameters of 76 mm for this part. Tail pipes are not included and are needed to complete the installation.

Sound and Character

Remus is known for a deep, characterful sound that stays civil at a steady cruise and opens up when you use the throttle.

Vehicle Coverage

In the US market it fits the 2015-2019 Volkswagen Golf R (chassis Mk7) with the 2.0L Turbo I4 engine. Model years follow the US market, not the European production dates Remus publishes.

Materials and Construction

Remus makes its exhaust parts from high-grade materials and checks each part for fit and finish.
