It fits the 2017-2021 model years sold in the US. If you are shopping for a mk7 gti exhaust, this Remus part is made specifically for that application. Like every Remus part, it is developed in Austria for a specific vehicle, so it bolts up to the factory mounting points without modification.

What It Does

As an axle-back exhaust it replaces only the rear silencer section, the part of the exhaust that shapes most of the sound you hear, while everything ahead of it stays factory. Remus lists pipe diameters of 65, 70 mm for this part. Tail pipes are not included and are needed to complete the installation.

Sound and Character

Remus tunes its exhausts for a sporty but refined sound: noticeably fuller than stock, without an intrusive drone at cruising speed.

Vehicle Coverage

In the US market it fits the 2017-2021 Volkswagen GTI (chassis Mk7) with the 2.0L Turbo I4 engine. Model years follow the US market, not the European production dates Remus publishes.

Materials and Construction

Remus makes its exhaust parts from high-grade materials and checks each part for fit and finish. In Europe it carries EC type approval. A 24-month Remus warranty covers the part.

Features

Sport exhaust centered for L/R system (without tail pipes, without connecting tube), incl.
