Akrapovic BMW M3 (G80)/M4 (G82) Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-BM/TI/33H 2021-2027

Built for the BMW M3 (G80) and BMW M4 (G82/G83), the Akrapovič BMW M3 (G80)/M4 (G82) Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-BM/TI/33H (S-BM/TI/33H) is a Slip-On Line exhaust engineered by Akrapovič for these cars. On the Akrapovič dyno it added 10.7 hp and 10.3 lb-ft, tested on a BMW M4 (G82, G83).

What It Does

This rear-section system takes the place of the stock silencers. Freer flow through the mufflers sharpens throttle response and gives the engine a clearer voice, while the lighter construction takes weight off the rear axle. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use. Akrapovič has versions and fitment notes for cars with and without a particulate filter, so check the engine and chassis in the table.

Materials and Construction

The titanium construction saves weight compared with the steel factory parts. Titanium also handles high exhaust temperatures and takes on its distinctive colouring with use. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand. Akrapovič's octagonal tail pipe design is offered for this system.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.
