Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW G01 X3 (2018-2024)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the third-generation BMW X3 (G01), sold in the US for the 2018-2024 model years as the sDrive30i, xDrive30i, M40i and the xDrive30e plug-in hybrid. The G01 is a quick, heavy compact SUV, and the M40i in particular is fast enough to overwhelm the factory brakes on a mountain road. A Brembo GT kit adds heat capacity and a firmer, more consistent pedal. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists two front kits for the G01, both GT 6-piston kits on 380x34mm two-piece discs, in two caliper families (N and T). The N caliper kit comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet. The T caliper kit comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. Both are offered with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (N caliper family) and a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (T caliper family). Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper): black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper): black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Every kit offers Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted.

FAQ

Which X3 models do these fit?
Brembo lists both kits for the X3 (G01) 2018-2024, with no model exclusions on the price sheet.

Do these kits fit the X3 M?
No. The X3 M (F97) has its own page with the 8-piston kit Brembo lists for it.

What is the difference between the N and T caliper kits?
Both are 6-piston GT calipers on the same disc size. Brembo lists them as two caliper families with different finish choices: the N caliper offers silver, GT-S and GT-R, and the T caliper offers fluorescent yellow.

Is there a rear kit?
No. Brembo lists only front kits for the X3: two GT 6-piston kits on 380x34mm two-piece discs, one with the N caliper and one with the T caliper. The front axle does most of the braking, so this is where a big brake kit makes the biggest difference.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the X3. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the BMW X3 (G01) 2018-2024. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
