Brembo Big Brake Kits for Scion FR-S (2013-2016)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S is on this page, front and rear. There are six front kits, from 1-piece 326mm GT kits to a PISTA race kit, and three rear kits. The FR-S is a light, rear-drive coupe built for handling, and owners take it to autocross, HPDE and time attack. A Brembo GT system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package; a PISTA kit replaces them with a racing caliper and disc.

The FR-S shares its chassis with the Subaru BRZ and the Toyota 86. Brembo gives one application for the FR-S, so every kit here fits every FR-S at original ride height. The two 326mm 1-piece front kits are listed as the H and S caliper families, which differ in finish choices.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Six front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs (H caliper family), a GT 4-piston kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs (S caliper family), a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then come three rear kits: a GT 2-piston kit on 316x20mm 1-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs, and a PISTA 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (H caliper), front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit, and rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit: black, red, and silver; front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (S caliper): black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; front GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit, front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit, and rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); all PISTA kits: Brembo's standard PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 3L Slotted is a PISTA race disc; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (H caliper), front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (S caliper), front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit, and rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Type 3 Slotted, Type 3L Slotted, and Type 5 Slotted on all PISTA kits.

FAQ

Do the BRZ and 86 kits fit my FR-S?
The cars share a platform, but buy from this page so the part numbers match Brembo's FR-S application.

What is the most affordable upgrade?
The GT 4-piston front kits on 326x30mm 1-piece discs. Add the 2-piston 316mm rear kit for balance.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the FR-S. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S (ZN6). Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
