Brembo Big Brake Kits for Hyundai Genesis (2009-2016)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2009-2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and Genesis sedan is on this page. You can choose GT 6-piston front kits on 365mm or 380mm discs, and a GT 4-piston rear kit for the 2015-2016 sedan. The rear-drive Genesis Coupe is a popular track-day and drift car, and the sedan is a heavy luxury car that benefits from more braking capacity. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Each kit name starts with its group. "Coupe" kits fit the Genesis Coupe 2.0T and 3.8. "Coupe & 2009-14 Sedan" fits the Coupe and the 2009-2014 sedan (3.8 and 4.6). "2015-16 Sedan RWD" kits fit the 2015-2016 sedan (3.8L V6 and 5.0 V8), excluding AWD. Some Genesis Coupe trims came with factory Brembo calipers; these kits are Brembo's aftermarket systems with larger 2-piece discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "Coupe": front GT 6-piston kit on 365x34mm discs. "Coupe & 2009-14 Sedan": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs. "2015-16 Sedan RWD": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs and rear GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the "Coupe" front GT 6-piston 365x34mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the "Coupe & 2009-14 Sedan" front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, "2015-16 Sedan RWD" front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit, and "2015-16 Sedan RWD" rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit.

FAQ

Which group is my car in?
Genesis Coupe owners use the "Coupe" and "Coupe & 2009-14 Sedan" kits. A 2009-2014 sedan uses "Coupe & 2009-14 Sedan". A 2015-2016 rear-drive sedan uses the "2015-16 Sedan RWD" kits.

Is there a rear kit for the Coupe?
No. Brembo lists the rear kit for the 2015-2016 sedan (RWD) only.

My Genesis Coupe already has Brembo brakes. Is this an upgrade?
Yes. The factory Brembo calipers are OE parts. These kits use larger 2-piece discs, new calipers and new pads.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the Genesis. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T and 3.8 (2009-2016), Genesis sedan 3.8 and 4.6 (2009-2014), and Genesis sedan 3.8L V6 and 5.0 V8 (2015-2016, excluding AWD), as named in each kit. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
