Brembo Big Brake Kits for Chevrolet 5th Gen Camaro (2010-2015)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2010-2015 fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro: the V6, SS, ZL1 and Z28. You can choose GT 6-piston front kits on 355mm, 380mm and 405mm discs, GT 4-piston rear kits, and PISTA race kits front and rear. The fifth-generation Camaro is heavy and powerful, and the brakes are the first thing to go on a road course. A Brembo GT system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package; a PISTA kit replaces them with a racing caliper and disc.

Brembo matches each kit to specific trims, so the kit names start with the cars they fit. The V6 has its own front kits and a 1-piece rear kit. The SS has a 380mm front kit, and the SS and ZL1 share a 405mm front kit. The 380mm rear kit fits the V6, SS and ZL1. The PISTA front kit is listed for the SS, ZL1 and Z28, and the PISTA rear kit for the Z28.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "V6": front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm 1-piece discs, front GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs, and rear GT 4-piston kit on 365x28mm 1-piece discs. "SS": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs. "SS & ZL1": front GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs. "SS, ZL1 & Z28": front PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs. "V6, SS & ZL1": rear GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. "Z28": rear PISTA 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: "V6" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm 1-piece kit and "V6" rear GT 4-piston 365x28mm 1-piece kit: black, red, silver, yellow, and GT-S (black hard-anodized); "V6" front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, "SS" front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit, "SS & ZL1" front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit, and "V6, SS & ZL1" rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); all PISTA kits: a clear-anodized PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the "V6" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm 1-piece kit and "V6" rear GT 4-piston 365x28mm 1-piece kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the "V6" front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, "SS" front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit, and "V6, SS & ZL1" rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the "SS & ZL1" front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on all PISTA kits.

Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Which kits fit my SS?
Look for kits whose names include "SS": the 380mm front kit, the 405mm front kit, the PISTA front kit and the 380mm rear kit.

Is there a kit for the Z28?
Yes. The PISTA 6-piston front kit and the PISTA 4-piston rear kit are listed for the Z28.

Does the PISTA rear kit keep a parking brake?
Yes. Brembo lists the Z28 rear PISTA kit with a parking brake.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the Camaro. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Chevrolet Camaro V6 and SS (2010-2015), ZL1 (2012-2015) and Z28 (2014-2015), as named in each kit. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
