VRSF G20 M340i / G22 M440i B58 Downpipe | 2019-2027

The VRSF 4.5-inch downpipe replaces the factory downpipe on the newer B58 BMWs: the G20 M340i, the G22 and G26 M440i, the M240i in F22 and G42 form, the G05 X5 xDrive40i and the G29 Z4 M40i. Choose a catless race version or a 200-cell high-flow catted version, in brushed stainless or with a heat shield wrap.

What It Does

The B58's factory downpipe holds a dense converter right after the turbo. Replacing it cuts back pressure, so the turbo spools sooner and holds boost more easily. VRSF measures 25 to 30 hp with a tune, along with a fuller, louder exhaust note. The catted version keeps a high-flow converter for a more moderate sound.

Materials and Construction

The downpipe is a full 4.5 inches, hand crafted and TIG welded from 304 stainless steel with smooth radius bends. A CNC-machined 304 stainless flange gives a smooth transition from the turbo to the mid pipes. It works with the stock cat-back and aftermarket cat-backs, and fits left- and right-hand-drive cars without modification.

Fitment Notes

• Lifetime warranty on the race downpipe; 2-year warranty on the catted version.
• VRSF lists fitment through 2023. Later model years use the same B58 layout, but please contact us to confirm before ordering for a 2024 or newer car.
• F-series 340i, 440i and 540i cars use the VRSF F-chassis B58 downpipe.
• Race downpipes remove the catalytic converters and are sold for off-road and competition use only. A tune is needed to run them without fault codes.
