Apex forged wheels are built for drivers who need the lightest, strongest wheel the lineup offers. Forging starts with solid billet aluminum pressed under extreme force, eliminating the porosity and grain inconsistencies that limit cast and flow formed construction. The result is a wheel that can run narrower walls with higher load ratings — typically 10 to 15 lbs lighter per wheel than a comparable factory option — and that Apex backs with independent VIA certification on every distinct size and offset combination.

The forged lineup covers four performance-focused model families. The VS-5RS (Sprint Line) is the lightest wheel Apex makes, featuring extra-deep side-milled spokes where a CNC ball cutter removes any material that doesn't contribute to structural strength — a process most manufacturers skip due to cost. The SM-10RS (Sprint Line) applies the same sprint and time attack philosophy to a different spoke architecture, with a reinforced inner lip designed for high-load endurance use. The SM-10RE (Enduro Line) is engineered specifically for sustained high-load applications, making it the natural choice for endurance track builds and daily performance driving. The EC-7RS brings generous clearance for brake setups up to 380mm, with vehicle-specific spoke profiles optimized using 3D laser scans of factory and aftermarket brake kits. All forged models include center caps, require no centering rings on supported applications, and are fully compatible with OEM TPMS sensors.

Forged wheels start around $700+ per wheel across BMW, Porsche, and other platform fitments in 18 and 19 inch diameters. If you're weighing construction types, the Apex flow formed lineup starts from $324 per wheel and delivers meaningful performance gains over cast at a lower cost. For BMW-specific sizing across both forged and flow formed, see Apex wheels for BMW.
