Overview

The APEX VS-5RX is a forged wheel from APEX's Touring Line, engineered specifically for European applications utilizing the 5x112 bolt pattern with 66.6mm center bore. This 21x10.5 ET28 wheel addresses the performance demands of enthusiasts who require both strength and reduced unsprung weight for improved handling dynamics while maintaining the refined aesthetic appropriate for touring applications. The forged construction approach delivers superior material density and structural integrity compared to cast alternatives.

Forged construction utilizes a single piece of aluminum that is heated and formed under extreme pressure, creating a wheel with enhanced grain structure and material properties. This manufacturing method produces wheels that are both lighter and stronger than cast equivalents, making them suitable for high-performance driving applications where wheel failure is not acceptable. The forged process eliminates the porosity and inconsistencies found in cast wheels, resulting in a denser, more reliable structure capable of withstanding the demands of track use and spirited driving. The precise material distribution achieved through forging allows for optimized spoke thickness and rim construction without compromising structural integrity required for the larger 21-inch diameter.

The 21x10.5 ET28 sizing provides substantial contact patch width for improved grip while maintaining proper suspension geometry through the engineered offset specification. The 5x112 bolt pattern and 66.6mm center bore dimensions ensure precise fitment for compatible European vehicles. The Brushed Clear finish delivers a refined appearance that complements the Touring Line aesthetic while providing protection against corrosion and road debris.
