FAQ

What is the best exhaust for an Audi R8?

It depends on the sound you want. Valved systems from Capristo, Valvetronic Designs or Kline keep a quiet mode for daily driving. Race systems from Ryft or Soul are the loudest.

Does a Gen 1 exhaust fit a Gen 2 R8?

No. The Gen 1 (2008–2015) and Gen 2 (2016+) use different exhaust layouts, and V8 and V10 Gen 1 systems also differ. Check the years in each product title.

Do I need a tune?

Not for a cat-back or valved rear section. Headers and catless setups typically do.
