CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System:
The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers a perfect balance of performance and versatility, providing an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.
-
Vacuum-Actuated Valve Flaps: These flaps automatically open and close based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, delivering a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.
-
CES-3 Control Module: The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled and user-programmable via the included CES-3 Control Module. Operated with a remote key fob, it offers three modes:
- Cruise: Valves open at higher RPMs.
- Sport: Valves open at lower RPMs and during hard acceleration.
- Open: Valves remain open continuously.
Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed to specific backpressure levels, allowing for precise control tailored to the driver’s preferences.
Advanced Engineering:
- Precision Manufacturing: CAPRISTO exhaust systems are engineered using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was chosen for its superior sonic resonance, low weight, and durability, with properties closely resembling Inconel, as used in F1 racing.
IMPORTANT:
- Installation: The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points.
- Usage Recommendation: Recommended for off-road and track use only. Replacing OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To resolve this, you may need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
