The Volk Racing TE37 debuted in 1996 and has spent the three decades since defining what a performance wheel is supposed to look like. The 6-spoke design is famous enough that plenty of buyers shop "TE37" without ever typing "Volk Racing" in front of it, and the wheel's silhouette has been counterfeited more than any other aftermarket wheel in history. The real one — built by RAYS Engineering in Osaka using mold-form forging rather than billet machining — is what lives in this collection. AutoTalent stocks the current TE37 lineup across all active sub-models: TE37 SAGA S-Plus, TE37 SAGA SL, TE37 Ultra, and TE37V Mark-II, in the sizes, widths, and offsets the platforms they were designed for actually need.

TE37 SAGA S-Plus is the mainstream TE37 — the widest fitment range, the broadest selection of sizes and offsets, the variant most buyers want. Updated in 2016 with AMT-machined spoke letters (no stickers), varying concave depths across different rim widths, and the racing concave face geometry that keeps brake caliper clearance intact across the full size matrix. SAGA S-Plus is the right answer for street cars, street/track duals, show builds, and most performance applications where you want the TE37 look and engineering without committing to a track-dedicated spec. SAGA SL is the Super Endurance variant — developed after the SAGA S-Plus won the Super Taikyu 24-hour race, with diamond-cut weight reduction at the center hole and rim flange. The SL is lighter than SAGA S-Plus by meaningful grams, uses spoke stickers instead of AMT machining (heat-resistant, laminate-coated), and comes in the distinctive Pressed Graphite finish that lets the cut lines show through. SL's fitment range is deliberately narrower — the wheel makes uncompromised engineering choices and that limits which cars it fits.

TE37 Ultra is the larger-diameter variant — 19" and 20" applications built around modern high-horsepower cars with larger brake packages, where the original TE37's diameter range doesn't fit. Same forging process, same engineering philosophy, scaled up. TE37V Mark-II is the 18-inch deep-dish evolution designed for wide-body builds, with 12J widths and offsets down to -33 for R32 GT-Rs and similar tuned chassis where rim depth is part of the look. Every TE37 in the collection ships with RAYS' proprietary JWL+R Spec-2 certification — which exceeds Japan's JWL and VIA industry standards — and the 6 "onigiri spaces" (named after the Japanese rice ball shape) between the spokes are engineered at 60° internal angles to distribute stress evenly under rim load. Wheels are sold individually; plan on four per set, and pair a staggered fitment by ordering two of one spec for the front and two of another for the rear. Call the AutoTalent team if you need help narrowing between SAGA S-Plus and SAGA SL for a specific chassis, or confirming the right size and offset for your build. TE37 FAQs

What's the difference between TE37 SAGA S-Plus and SAGA SL?

Both are current-generation TE37 variants built on the same forging process. SAGA S-Plus is the mainstream TE37 — widest fitment range, AMT-machined spoke letters, standard finishes. SAGA SL is the lightweight Super Endurance variant developed from Super Taikyu 24-hour racing — diamond-cut weight reduction at the center hole and rim flange, spoke sticker logos (heat-resistant, laminate-coated) instead of machined, distinctive Pressed Graphite finish that lets the cut lines show. SL is lighter but has a narrower fitment range because the engineering choices are less compromising. Pick SAGA S-Plus for most builds; pick SAGA SL if you have a compatible platform and weight savings matter.

What's the difference between TE37, TE37SL, TE37 Ultra, and TE37V?

They're all TE37 family wheels with the same 6-spoke design and forging process, differentiated by intent and size range. TE37 SAGA S-Plus is the mainstream current-generation wheel. TE37 SAGA SL / TE37SL is the lightweight track-focused variant. TE37 Ultra is the larger-diameter variant (19"/20") built for modern high-HP cars with bigger brakes. TE37V Mark-II is the 18-inch deep-dish variant for wide-body builds, with widths up to 12J and negative offsets down to -33. Pick based on car application and intended use — all of them are real TE37s, just tuned for different builds.

How do I know my TE37s are authentic?

The TE37 is the most counterfeited aftermarket wheel ever made. Fake TE37s are everywhere — cast wheels sold as "TE37 style," machined clones, and outright fake-branded wheels at suspiciously low prices. Authentic Volk TE37s have AMT-machined (not stickered) spoke logos on SAGA S-Plus, the heat-resistant laminated spoke sticker system on SAGA SL, RAYS color-ring hub badging, JWL+R Spec-2 certification stamping, and authorized dealer paperwork. AutoTalent is an authentic Volk Racing source — every TE37 in this collection is a real RAYS-built wheel. If the price looks too good to be true on another site, it almost certainly is a replica.

Why is each wheel sold individually?

TE37s are priced per wheel because buyers need specific sizes and offsets that differ between front and rear — especially on staggered setups where the rear is wider than the front. Selling individually lets you build the exact four-wheel combination your car needs (two of one spec up front, two of another out back for staggered; four of the same for square). Plan on four wheels per complete set.
