Active Autowerke F80 M3/F82 M4 AFlow EL Resonated Bundle

For F80 M3 and F82 M4 owners who want the whole Active Autowerke system with the cleanest tone, this bundle combines AFlow catted downpipes, the Gen 2 equal length mid pipe with resonated connecting pipes, and the Maad Maxx three-can valved rear section. It is priced below the three parts bought on their own.

Because the downpipes are part of the package, this is the configuration Active Autowerke points to for less rasp: it recommends the resonated mid pipe whenever aftermarket downpipes are fitted.

What It Does

Freer catted downpipes help the S55 turbos spool sooner, and Active Autowerke says they need no performance tune to run. The equal length mid pipe brings both cylinder banks into step for a smooth inline-six sound, and its Gen 2 resonators remove harshness and the 2,000 rpm buzz with little loss of volume. The Maad Maxx rear keeps the factory valves in play, so you still have a quieter mode.

Materials and Construction

All three parts are 304 stainless steel. The AFlow downpipes are TIG-welded with cast stainless V-band flanges and 400-cell stainless cats rated to 500 hp. The rear section is the Active Autowerke Maad Maxx, a three-can valved design with dump valves, flex joints to cut vibration and double-canned mufflers to tame resonance. Each one is test-fitted on Active Autowerke's F8X exhaust fixture. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.
