Active Autowerke F87 M2 Competition AFlow EL Bundle

The AFlow EL bundle is a complete turbo-back Active Autowerke exhaust for the BMW F87 M2 Competition. It includes S55 AFlow catted downpipes, the Gen 2 equal length mid pipe with straight pipes, and the M2C valved rear axle-back, at a better price than the three parts separately.

What It Does

With the downpipes, mid pipe and rear all replaced, the S55 breathes freely from the turbo outlets to the tips. The catted downpipes help the turbos spool sooner, and Active Autowerke says they run without a performance tune. The equal length mid pipe brings both banks into step for a smooth inline-six sound, and the valved rear lets you keep the stock valve modes.

Materials and Construction

Every part is 304 stainless steel. The AFlow downpipes are TIG-welded with a cast stainless V-band and 400-cell stainless cats rated to 500 hp. The rear section is Active Autowerke's F87 valved axle-back. It reuses the BMW valve actuators, so the stock valve control still works, and each one is test-fitted on Active Autowerke's F87 exhaust fixture. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.

FAQ

Do I need a tune?
Active Autowerke says its S55 catted downpipes need no performance tune. A tune is still a common next step.

Should I pick the resonated version instead?
Active Autowerke recommends the resonated mid pipe with aftermarket downpipes if you want less rasp. This bundle uses straight pipes for maximum volume.

Does the tip finish change the price?
Yes. Carbon fiber and carbon over black tips cost more than brushed or matte black. The price updates when you pick a finish.
