Active Autowerke G87 M2 G-Brace Chassis Brace

The Active Autowerke G87 brace replaces the factory chassis brace under the BMW G87 M2 to make room for larger exhaust systems.

Active Autowerke includes it with its G87 Signature mid pipes, and sells it on its own for cars running other large-diameter exhausts.

What It Does

The factory brace sits close to the exhaust tunnel and limits how big a mid pipe can be. The Active Autowerke brace is shaped with a raised center so larger pipes clear it, while it bolts to the factory mounting points to keep the underbody braced.

Materials and Construction

A flat brace with a raised center section and slotted mounting holes that line up with the factory points, so it installs as a direct swap for the stock brace. It follows the same idea as the Active Autowerke G80/G82 G-brace, adapted to the M2.
