The G80 M3 and G82 M4 are fast, but many owners find the S58 sounds muffled for an M car. This Active Autowerke bundle answers that with the valved rear axle-back and the patented Gen 2 Signature equal length mid pipe, sold together for less than the two parts separately.

What It Does

Active Autowerke notes that the big change in sound comes from the mid pipe, while the rear section alone is a milder upgrade, so this bundle includes both. The equal length design brings the exhaust pulses from both turbos back into step for a smoother, fuller note at high rpm. The rear axle-back then adds volume and keeps the factory valve control.

Materials and Construction

Both parts are 304 stainless steel. The rear section is Active Autowerke's G80/G82 valved axle-back, which raises the sound level over the stock exhaust and reuses the BMW valve actuators so the factory valve control still works. The mid pipe installs with factory-style flanges and includes the Active Autowerke G-brace. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.
