Active Autowerke G80 M3/G82 M4 EL Resonated Exhaust Bundle

This Active Autowerke bundle gives the G80 M3 and G82 M4 a louder, more refined S58 sound. It pairs the valved rear axle-back with the Gen 2 Signature equal length mid pipe fitted with an additional resonator, for less than the two parts cost separately.

What It Does

The equal length mid pipe brings the exhaust pulses into step for a smoother note, and the extra Gen 2 resonator strips out rasp with very little drop in volume. It also reduces the 2,000 rpm drone. Active Autowerke recommends the resonated version for cars with aftermarket downpipes and notes that stock downpipes still produce some rasp. The valved rear axle-back adds volume and keeps the BMW valve control.

Materials and Construction

Both parts are 304 stainless steel. The rear section is Active Autowerke's G80/G82 valved axle-back, which raises the sound level over the stock exhaust and reuses the BMW valve actuators so the factory valve control still works. The mid pipe includes the Active Autowerke G-brace. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.

Will the resonator make it quiet?
No. Active Autowerke built it to remove rasp with minimal change in volume.
