Active Autowerke G87 M2 Exhaust: AFlow EL Bundle

This bundle is the complete Active Autowerke turbo-back exhaust for the S58 BMW G87 M2: AFlow catted downpipes, the Gen 2 Signature equal length mid pipe with straight pipes, and the G87 valved rear axle-back. It costs less than buying all three parts separately.

What It Does

Freer downpipes help the turbos spool sooner, and Active Autowerke says its S58 catted downpipes run without a performance tune. The equal length mid pipe corrects the uneven factory crossover so the exhaust pulses arrive in step, and the valved rear axle-back adds volume while keeping the BMW valve modes. Together they turn the stock M2's muted note into a proper M sound.

Materials and Construction

The S58 AFlow downpipes are TIG-welded 304 stainless with a 1.5 mm wall, cast stainless V-band turbo flanges and 400-cell stainless cats rated for up to 800 hp. The mid pipe needs only two cuts in the stock pipe and includes the G87 brace. The rear section is the Active Autowerke G87 valved axle-back. It reuses the BMW valve actuators, so the stock valve control is kept, and each one is test-fitted on Active Autowerke's in-house G87 fixture. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.

Do I need a tune?
Active Autowerke says no performance tune is needed for the catted downpipes.

Should I choose the resonated version?
Active Autowerke recommends resonated pipes with aftermarket downpipes if you want less rasp.

Does the tip finish change the price?
Yes. Carbon fiber and carbon over black tips cost more than brushed or matte black. The price updates when you pick a finish.
