Active Autowerke G87 M2 Exhaust: AFlow EL Resonated Bundle

The AFlow EL Resonated bundle is the full Active Autowerke system for the BMW G87 M2, set up for the cleanest tone. It includes S58 AFlow catted downpipes, the Gen 2 Signature equal length mid pipe with an additional resonator, and the G87 valved rear axle-back, for less than the three parts bought separately.

What It Does

With aftermarket downpipes fitted, Active Autowerke recommends the resonated mid pipe, so this is its suggested complete setup. The AFlow downpipes help the turbos spool and need no tune, the equal length layout fixes the uneven factory crossover, and the Gen 2 resonator removes rasp, the 2,000 rpm buzz and the cold-start rattle with little drop in volume. The valved rear keeps the stock valve modes.

Materials and Construction

The S58 AFlow downpipes are TIG-welded 304 stainless with a 1.5 mm wall, cast stainless V-band turbo flanges and 400-cell stainless cats rated for up to 800 hp. The resonated mid pipe needs only two cuts in the stock pipe and includes the G87 brace. The rear section is the Active Autowerke G87 valved axle-back. It reuses the BMW valve actuators, so the stock valve control is kept, and each one is test-fitted on Active Autowerke's in-house G87 fixture. Pick from four tip finishes: brushed stainless, matte black, carbon fiber, or carbon fiber over black.
