Active Autowerke E46 Rear Subframe Reinforcement Kit

If your E46 makes unfamiliar noises from the rear whenever you get on the throttle, the sheet metal around the rear subframe mounts may already be tearing. The Active Autowerke rear reinforcement kit gives you the steel plates to repair and strengthen that area, whether the car is stock or modified.

The kit fits the E46 non-M models and the E46 M3.

What It Does

The rear subframe, differential and rear suspension are all held by bolts threaded into the body sheet metal. Repeated load cracks and splits the metal around those threads, and if it is left alone there may eventually be nothing holding the rear of the car securely. Welding these plates in restores the mounts and spreads the load over a larger area.
