Overview

Active Autowerke gives E36 M3 owners the same Rotrex blower family that powers its 500 hp E46 M3 system. The Level 1 kit pairs a Rotrex C38 centrifugal supercharger with matched hardware, injectors and Active Autowerke dyno-tuned software, and Active Autowerke rates it at 360 hp at 6,900 rpm and 300 lb-ft at 5,700 rpm on 7 psi. That is about 295 hp at the wheels, up from the factory 240 hp.

It runs on 91-93 octane pump fuel and keeps the M3 easy to live with every day.

What It Does

The belt-driven Rotrex builds boost smoothly with rpm, so the car feels like a bigger engine rather than a peaky turbo build. The system is modular: Level 2 adds a front-mount intercooler and more boost, and Level 3 steps up to a larger blower, so you can grow the build without replacing parts you already own. Active Autowerke suggests adding its M3 exhaust for more power.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
