Active Autowerke F97 X3M/F98 X4M Valved Rear Exhaust

The Active Autowerke valved rear axle-back replaces the factory rear section on the BMW F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M. It raises the sound level over the factory exhaust and reuses the BMW valve actuators, so you keep valve control with a deep, throaty tone.

The X3 M and X4 M are very fast SUVs, but the factory exhaust is muffled, and many owners feel they do not sound like an M car.

What It Does

Active Autowerke offers a full F97/F98 system: a valved rear axle-back, a single or equal length mid pipe, and catted downpipes. Active Autowerke notes the rear section on its own is a more subtle upgrade; the dramatic difference comes with replacing the mid pipe.

Made in the USA from 304 stainless steel. Every rear section is test-fitted on Active Autowerke's in-house F97/F98 exhaust fixture, and Active Autowerke guarantees it fits every F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M. All installation hardware is included.
