Akrapovic BMW M4 (F82/F83) Slip-On Line (Titanium) 2018-2020

The Akrapovič BMW M4 (F82/F83) Slip-On Line (Titanium) (part S-BM/T/4H) is a Slip-On Line exhaust for the BMW M4 (F82/F83). On the Akrapovič dyno it added 3.4 hp and 3.2 lb-ft.

Performance and Sound

A Slip-On Line replaces the rear silencer section of the exhaust and bolts on behind the factory catalytic converters. It is the most direct way to change how the car sounds and how much the back of the car weighs, without touching the emissions hardware up front. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use.

Materials and Construction

Titanium is the material Akrapovič is best known for. It is much lighter than steel, handles heat well and resists corrosion, so the system keeps its strength and finish over many heat cycles. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.
