Benefits

As a slip-on (rear section) system it keeps the factory front pipes and converters and swaps out the heavy stock mufflers. The result is a lighter car and a far more characterful exhaust note, with a straightforward bolt-on install. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use. Materials and Construction

Titanium is the material Akrapovič is best known for. It is much lighter than steel, handles heat well and resists corrosion, so the system keeps its strength and finish over many heat cycles. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.
