Overview

This is the genuine Akrapovič BMW M440i (G22) Evolution Line (Titanium) w/Carbon Tips (Req Link Pipes), part number S-BM/T/18H, a connecting pipe that fits the BMW M440i (G22/G23).

Benefits

This pipe set connects the parts of the exhaust and is shaped to the factory routing of the car. On many cars Akrapovič offers link pipes as an option that changes the sound and flow of the system. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup.

Materials and Construction

Akrapovič works titanium in-house, from forming the tubes to welding the sections. The material is light, strong and very resistant to heat and corrosion. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry.

Every Akrapovič part is engineered for a specific car rather than adapted from a universal design. That is why the fitment list below is so specific.
