Benefits

Evolution Line systems are Akrapovič's more complete street exhausts. Replacing more of the factory piping lets the engineers smooth the flow, lift output and give the car a distinct tone while saving weight along the whole length of the system. Valves in the system keep it calm at a steady cruise and open it up for a much louder, deeper sound when you push on. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use. Materials and Construction

Akrapovič works titanium in-house, from forming the tubes to welding the sections. The material is light, strong and very resistant to heat and corrosion. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.
