Akrapovic BMW M2 (G87) Slip-On Line (Titanium) 2023-2027

Built for the BMW M2 (G87), the Akrapovič BMW M2 (G87) Slip-On Line (Titanium) (S-BM/T/34H) is a Slip-On Line exhaust engineered by Akrapovič for these cars. On the Akrapovič dyno it added 5.2 hp and 10 lb-ft, tested on a BMW M2 Coupé (G87).

Benefits

This rear-section system takes the place of the stock silencers. Freer flow through the mufflers sharpens throttle response and gives the engine a clearer voice, while the lighter construction takes weight off the rear axle. Valves in the system keep it calm at a steady cruise and open it up for a much louder, deeper sound when you push on. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use. Materials and Construction

Titanium is the material Akrapovič is best known for. It is much lighter than steel, handles heat well and resists corrosion, so the system keeps its strength and finish over many heat cycles. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. Akrapovič's octagonal tail pipe design is offered for this system.
