Part S-BM/T/30H is the Akrapovič BMW M340i (G20) Slip-On Line (Titanium) (Requires BMW Part #18308686640), a Slip-On Line exhaust made for the BMW M340i (G20) and BMW M440i Gran Coupe (G26). On the Akrapovič dyno it added 4.6 hp and 9.1 lb-ft.

Benefits

This rear-section system takes the place of the stock silencers. Freer flow through the mufflers sharpens throttle response and gives the engine a clearer voice, while the lighter construction takes weight off the rear axle. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use. Akrapovič has versions and fitment notes for cars with and without a particulate filter, so check the engine and chassis in the table.

Materials and Construction

Akrapovič works titanium in-house, from forming the tubes to welding the sections. The material is light, strong and very resistant to heat and corrosion. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.

Akrapovič started in racing and still develops its road parts with the same tools: its own dyno, sound lab and titanium foundry. Each part is made to fit the factory mounting points of the car.
