Benefits

An Evolution Line covers a longer stretch of the exhaust than a slip-on, usually from the catalytic converters or the middle section back. The bigger scope lets Akrapovič tune the whole flow path for power, torque and sound together. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track.

Materials and Construction

The titanium construction saves weight compared with the steel factory parts. Titanium also handles high exhaust temperatures and takes on its distinctive colouring with use. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry.

Akrapovič started in racing and still develops its road parts with the same tools: its own dyno, sound lab and titanium foundry. Each part is made to fit the factory mounting points of the car.
