The Akrapovič Mercedes Benz CLE 53 4MATIC / Cabriolet (C236 / A236) Titanium Slip On Exhaust (part S-ME/T/16H) is a Slip-On Line exhaust for the Mercedes-Benz CLE53 AMG Coupe/Cabriolet (C236/A236). On the Akrapovič dyno it added 6.2 hp and 5.7 lb-ft.

Performance and Sound

A Slip-On Line replaces the rear silencer section of the exhaust and bolts on behind the factory catalytic converters. It is the most direct way to change how the car sounds and how much the back of the car weighs, without touching the emissions hardware up front. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup.

Materials and Construction

The titanium construction saves weight compared with the steel factory parts. Titanium also handles high exhaust temperatures and takes on its distinctive colouring with use. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.

Akrapovič started in racing and still develops its road parts with the same tools: its own dyno, sound lab and titanium foundry. Each part is made to fit the factory mounting points of the car.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
