Part S-PO997CA-TH is the Akrapovič Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet/S/4/4S/GTS (997 DFI) Slip-On Line (Titanium), a Slip-On Line exhaust made for the Porsche 911 Carrera/S/4/4S/GTS (997.2). On the Akrapovič dyno it added 8.6 hp and 12.4 lb-ft, tested on a Porsche 911 Carrera /S/4/4S/GTS (997 DFI).

Benefits

A Slip-On Line replaces the rear silencer section of the exhaust and bolts on behind the factory catalytic converters. It is the most direct way to change how the car sounds and how much the back of the car weighs, without touching the emissions hardware up front. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use.

Materials and Construction

The titanium construction saves weight compared with the steel factory parts. Titanium also handles high exhaust temperatures and takes on its distinctive colouring with use.

Akrapovič was founded in Slovenia in 1990 by Igor Akrapovič and built its name in motorsport before moving into road-car exhausts. That racing background shows in the attention to weight, flow and build quality.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
