What It Does

This rear-section system takes the place of the stock silencers. Freer flow through the mufflers sharpens throttle response and gives the engine a clearer voice, while the lighter construction takes weight off the rear axle. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use.

Materials and Construction

The titanium construction saves weight compared with the steel factory parts. Titanium also handles high exhaust temperatures and takes on its distinctive colouring with use. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry.

Akrapovič designs and builds its exhausts in Slovenia. The company is known for its titanium work, its carbon-fibre parts and the sound tuning it does for each car.
