On the Akrapovič dyno it added 5.1 hp and 18.8 lb-ft, tested on a Porsche Macan Turbo (95B).

What It Does

An Evolution Line covers a longer stretch of the exhaust than a slip-on, usually from the catalytic converters or the middle section back. The bigger scope lets Akrapovič tune the whole flow path for power, torque and sound together. Valves in the system keep it calm at a steady cruise and open it up for a much louder, deeper sound when you push on. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound.

Materials and Construction

Titanium is the material Akrapovič is best known for. It is much lighter than steel, handles heat well and resists corrosion, so the system keeps its strength and finish over many heat cycles. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.
