Performance and Sound

As a slip-on (rear section) system it keeps the factory front pipes and converters and swaps out the heavy stock mufflers. The result is a lighter car and a far more characterful exhaust note, with a straightforward bolt-on install. The valved design means one exhaust can be refined on the motorway and loud on a back road or track. Akrapovič notes that no ECU remap is needed for this setup. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is offered for this car to add more control over the exhaust sound. Akrapovič also offers optional link pipes for this car, intended for closed-course use.

Materials and Construction

Akrapovič works titanium in-house, from forming the tubes to welding the sections. The material is light, strong and very resistant to heat and corrosion. Some of the parts are cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry. The carbon-fibre parts are finished by hand.
