Overview

The AMS Performance R8/Huracan DL800 Transmission Titanium Hardware Kit replaces the stretch-prone OEM aluminum bolts. Over time the factory bolts stretch and loosen, which lets oil leak from the transmission; beyond the mess, a neglected leak can lead to transmission damage.

The kit uses aerospace grade 6Al-4V (Grade 5) titanium and ARP 4130 chromoly steel. It is light with high tensile strength, and unlike the OEM torque-to-yield aluminum bolts that must be replaced once removed, it can be reused. AMS calls it the most complete bolt kit available.

It covers the transmission to engine bolts, oil pan and sump bolts, mechatronic cover bolts, basket mounting bolts, end plate bolts, half shaft mounting bolts, external and internal mid plate bolts, and ARP differential cover bolts. All but two bolts install with the transmission in the car; the two internal mid plate bolts need the case apart, so AMS recommends fitting those during a transmission build or repair.

Can it go in with the transmission installed?
All but two bolts can. The two internal mid plate bolts need case disassembly.

Can I reuse the bolts?
Yes. Unlike the OEM aluminum bolts, these are reusable.

Will it stop my leak?
It replaces the stretch-prone bolts that commonly cause case leaks.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
