AMS Alpha Cast Plenum Intake Manifold, Standard Fuel Rail, Blue | Nissan GT-R

This is the AMS Performance R35 GT-R Intake Manifold with Cast Aluminum Plenums with the standard fuel rail, finished in blue anodizing on the billet runners. AMS designed it to be the most efficient, most powerful cast VR38 manifold available, and against the leading cast aluminum manifold it made more power and torque through the entire power band.

Each bank gets a molded and tapered cast aluminum plenum based on the championship-winning Alpha carbon design, and the manifold is over 25% lighter than the leading cast manifold. The plenums spread charge air evenly into CNC billet velocity stacks, and the billet upper and lower runners are dowel-pin aligned so there are no steps to cause turbulence.

AMS cycle tested the design from 0-50 psi in high heat to simulate more than 20 years of use and burst tested it past 150 psi. Dual MAP sensor ports allow bank-to-bank boost monitoring, and adapters for the stock throttle bodies are included. The manifold has provisions for a secondary fuel rail if you need more injectors later. Product photos show the manifold design and the anodizing color chart; your manifold ships with blue runners.

Specs

FAQ

Can I use my stock fuel rails?
No. Stock rails are not compatible. AMS can only guarantee its own fuel rails with this manifold.

Can I use my stock throttle bodies?
Yes. Adapters for the stock throttle bodies are included. Alpha big bore throttle bodies are sold separately.

What about the PCV system?
AMS notes custom PCV routing is needed if you want to keep that function.
