Overview

The AMS Performance Nissan Z Fuel Filter is an in-line filter system for the VR30. OEM fuel system failures are fairly common on the VR30, especially with E50 or E85. Ethanol acts as a cleaner and can loosen sediment that built up in the tank and lines, and a quality in-line filter keeps that debris out of the injectors and engine.

The CNC machined filter housing was designed for the Z and bolts to the chassis in OEM bolt locations. Generic kits often leave the housing unsecured; the AMS mount keeps the unit and lines from moving, which protects the lines as well as looking clean.

The filter uses a 6 micron glass element that is compatible with 100% ethanol. Motorsport-grade AN fittings and aluminum quick connects work with the factory fuel lines, and the black nylon coated -6AN braided hose is E85 compatible. It integrates with the AMS Flex Fuel Kit, sold separately.

Do I need this with E85?
It is strongly recommended. Ethanol can loosen sediment that a quality filter will catch.

Is it a permanent modification?
No. It bolts in with no permanent modification.

Does it work with the AMS Flex Fuel Kit?
Yes. It is designed to integrate with it.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
