AMS Alpha Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake | 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R R35

The AMS Performance Alpha R35 GT-R Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake (part number ALP.07.08.0008-1) replaces the bulky factory airboxes with carbon fiber tubes and high-flow dry media filters. It pulls cooler air from outside the engine bay into the stock turbochargers and cleans up the look under the hood.

The tubes are a full 3" (76mm), larger than the factory pieces. That added cross-section lets the factory mass airflow sensors meter air accurately to more than 1,000 horsepower, so the intake grows with your build. AMS says the system saves about 4 lb over stock, and you will hear the turbos and blow-off valves much more clearly.

The tubes are hand laid from high-temperature motorsports-grade carbon fiber and polished rather than clear coated, so small weave variations are normal and no two sets look exactly alike. 5-ply reinforced silicone couplers and all hardware are included, and installation needs no cutting, trimming or bumper removal.

Do I need a tune?
The intake keeps the factory MAF sensors. A tune is recommended to make the most of the extra flow, especially on modified cars.

Will the turbos be louder?
Yes. The turbos and blow-off valves become more audible.

Why does the carbon finish vary?
Each tube is hand laid and polished instead of clear coated, so small weave differences are normal.
