Overview

The AMS Performance R35 GT-R Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold is the Alpha flagship for the VR38DETT. Against the leading cast aluminum manifold it made more horsepower and torque through the entire power band, from the moment the turbos spool, with nothing lost in response.

Two molded and tapered carbon fiber plenums, one per bank, spread charge air evenly into CNC aluminum velocity stacks. The billet upper and lower runner sections are matched and dowel-pin aligned, dual MAP sensor ports let you watch bank-to-bank boost, and the manifold is over 30% lighter than the leading cast manifold.

AMS built it with aerospace epoxies, cycle tested it 144,000 times from 0-50 psi in high heat to simulate more than 20 years of use, and burst tested it past 150 psi. Choose the standard 6-injector rail setup or add the auxiliary rail for 12 injectors for builds heading past 2,000 hp. This listing is the clear anodized finish.

  • AMS fuel rails (stock rails are not compatible)

FAQ

Can I use my stock fuel rails?
No. Stock rails are not compatible. AMS can only guarantee its own fuel rails with this manifold.

Can I use my stock throttle bodies?
Yes. Adapters for the stock throttle bodies are included. Alpha big bore throttle bodies are sold separately.

What about the PCV system?
AMS notes custom PCV routing is needed if you want to keep that function.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
