AMS Alpha Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold w/ Aux Fuel Rail | Nissan GT-R

The AMS Performance R35 GT-R Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold is the Alpha flagship for the VR38DETT, and this version includes the secondary fuel rail for an 18-injector setup in the clear anodized finish. AMS designed it to be the most efficient, most powerful VR38 manifold available, and in testing against the leading cast aluminum manifold it made more power and torque through the entire power band.

Two molded and tapered carbon fiber plenums, one per bank, spread charge air evenly into CNC aluminum velocity stacks. The billet upper and lower runner sections are matched and dowel-pin aligned so there are no steps to cause turbulence. The manifold is over 30% lighter than the leading cast manifold.

AMS built it with aerospace epoxies and layup methods, cycle tested the design 144,000 times from 0-50 psi in high heat to replicate more than 20 years of use, and burst tested it past 150 psi. The third rail places extra injectors at an optimized spray angle to feed a VR38 making over 2,000 hp.

Does it keep the PCV system?
AMS notes custom PCV routing is needed if you want to keep that function.

Can I use my stock throttle bodies?
Yes. Adapters for the stock throttle bodies are included. Big bore throttle bodies are sold separately.
