AMS Alpha Throttle Body Isolators | 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R R35

The AMS Performance R35 GT-R Throttle Body Isolator Kit (part number ALP.07.08.0006-5) fixes a problem AMS found in its GT-R race program: vibration from the powertrain travels through the intake manifold and can make the throttle plates close early or slam shut at high power.

AMS developed the isolators with T1 Race Development. They sit between the throttle bodies and the manifold to insulate the throttle bodies from that vibration, which can be the difference between a clean pass and a lost race. AMS calls them a must for high-horsepower GT-Rs on aluminum intake manifolds and a natural add-on to the Alpha carbon fiber manifold.

Each isolator is machined from high-strength 6061-T6 billet aluminum and installs plug and play. They fit the Alpha big bore throttle bodies directly and work with most aftermarket R35 throttle bodies. They do not fit stock throttle bodies or AT Power throttle bodies.

Will these work with stock throttle bodies?
