AMS Alpha Upper Intercooler Piping | 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R R35

The AMS Performance R35 GT-R Upper Intercooler Piping replaces the factory upper intercooler pipes, growing them from 60mm to 76mm (3"). The larger diameter moves more air to the throttle bodies with less restriction, which AMS found gives the biggest horsepower and torque gains of any piping change on the GT-R.

The pipes are powder coated in wrinkle black and flanged for TiAL blow-off valves. Because the GT-R can be built many ways, AMS makes four versions, matched to the intercooler, intake manifold and throttle bodies on your car: stock intercooler with stock manifold and throttle bodies (ALP.07.09.0006-2); Alpha intercooler with stock manifold and throttle bodies (ALP.07.09.0006-1); Alpha intercooler and Alpha manifold with stock throttle bodies (ALP.07.09.0006-3); or Alpha intercooler, manifold and throttle bodies (ALP.07.09.0006-5).

The piping fits the stock intercooler or the AMS Street, Race and Race X front mount intercoolers. Fitting it to other intercoolers may need extra parts and fabrication.

Which option do I choose?
Match the option to your car: which intercooler, intake manifold and throttle bodies are installed (stock or AMS Alpha).

Do I need a tune?
Yes. The new mass air flow sensor orientation requires an ECU retune. Driving without one can damage the engine.

Does it fit other brands of intercooler?
It is designed for the stock and AMS intercoolers. Others may need extra parts and fabrication.
