Overview

The AMS Q50 / Q60 Red Alpha VR30 Auxiliary Intercooler Pump Kit (part number ALP.28.02.0003-1) is a must-do upgrade for non-Red Sport Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models with the 3.0L twin-turbo VR30. Infiniti fitted a second intercooler pump to the Red Sport to manage heat, and this kit brings the same level of cooling to other trims for a fraction of the cost.

Moving more coolant through the intercooler system means cooler intake temperatures and more sustained power, and it makes the other cooling parts work more efficiently. Each brushless pump is flow tested before it ships.

The kit is a direct bolt-in with pre-formed hoses, a mounting bracket and a wiring harness. For the ultimate VR30 cooling system, pair it with the Red Alpha heat exchanger, auxiliary coolant tank and expansion tank. Bleeding the intercooler system after installation requires the OEM CONSULT tool or an equivalent bleed procedure.

Do I need this on a Red Sport?
No. The Red Sport already has a second pump. This kit is for other VR30 trims.

How do I bleed the system?
AMS says bleeding requires the OEM CONSULT tool or an equivalent bleed procedure.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
