Overview

The AMS Evo X Performance Intake replaces the factory intake tract on the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X with a smoother, larger 3" path to the turbocharger. It cleans up the engine bay while adding power: on AMS's shop car, with an AMS manual boost controller holding the factory 21 psi, the intake produced 45 all-wheel horsepower over stock.

The pipe is TIG welded in house from 3" mandrel-bent aluminum and carries a CNC aluminum MAF sensor flange, a boost source port and a crankcase breather port. AMS angled the blow-off valve recirculation entry in line with the air path, so returning air does not disturb flow. A high-flow K&N filter, 4-ply silicone couplers, clamps, stainless hardware and an intake fan shield are included.

It comes in polished aluminum (AMS.04.08.0002-1) or black wrinkle powder coat (AMS.04.08.0002-2).

2008 Evo X models do not need one according to AMS. 2010 and later models need a custom tune for safe operation.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
