The AMS Performance INFINITI Q50 / Q60 Red Alpha Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit is the only intake developed by AMS that INFINITI USA selected for its official Motorsports Catalog. AMS says it is the highest power-producing intake for the VR30, with an average gain of 17 wheel horsepower over stock.

It draws true cold air through sealed intake boxes with real carbon fiber lids, since heat is the biggest power robber in an intake. Built-in bell horn dry filters and smooth wire-reinforced silicone inlet hoses cut turbulence, and the kit keeps the stock MAF housing for factory-smooth drivability.

There is no check-engine light and no tune required, and AMS reports no surging even on the stock ECU. It installs at the factory mounting points with detailed instructions. You can also choose the kit bundled with the Red Alpha carbon engine cover from the options menu.
